Neither box is pre-ticked and neither is required — a customer completes their booking with both left unchecked, and the salon confirms by phone instead. The two consents are recorded separately. Agreeing to Ez Nails's Terms of Service is a separate required tick on the final booking screen, which collects no phone number and no message consent.

The phone number field is required only so the salon can reach the customer about the appointment. A customer who checks no box completes their booking and receives no confirmation, reminder or promotional text.
